But the ranking factors for Google+ Local listings are completely different. They are based on a few big factors, primarily:
- Reviews on your Google+ page
- Reviews about your business on other local review sites
- Citations of your business on other local sites
- Listings in major local directories
So obviously, local SEO in terms of ranking your Google+ listing requires a different approach. In particular, you really need to get your customers engaged in the process – because after all, much of your ranking will be determined by the genuine word of mouth and reviews about your business out there on the web.
